⚡ Lights blinking like a strobe (side-by-side)
A side-by-side with the display or interior lights flashing like a strobe is a main control board fault. We replace the control and the flashing stops — a known, fixable issue.
💧 Leaking water / ice on the bottom of the freezer
Water on the floor, water pooling inside the fridge, or a sheet of ice under the bottom drawers is almost always a clogged, frozen defrost drain — it backs up, refreezes, and overflows. It's the most common fridge repair there is, and an easy, affordable fix: we clear and thaw the drain and add a drain heater/clip so it doesn't re-clog. Common on Samsung, Frigidaire and GE side-by-sides, and virtually all top-freezers.
Defrost system (heater, timer, thermostat)
Most common Whirlpool fridge failure. Causes warm fridge, cold freezer. $250–$400 standard repair.
Evaporator / condenser fan
Common cooling and noise failure.
Ice maker module

Licensed Sealed-System Specialists — Including R600a Units Others Won’t Touch
A cooling repair means opening the sealed system — the compressor, evaporator, and refrigerant. That’s licensed work, and we hold the EPA Section 608 Universal certification to do all of it: recover, fix the leak or swap the compressor, pull a deep vacuum, and recharge it right. A lot of “appliance guys” simply aren’t licensed for this.
We also handle R600a (isobutane) sealed systems — the newer flammable-refrigerant units. Most appliance repair shops won’t touch them. We do. We’ve got the certification, the tools, and the training to do it right and safe.
