💧 Leaking water / ice on the bottom of the freezer
Water on the floor, water pooling inside the fridge, or a sheet of ice under the bottom drawers is almost always a clogged, frozen defrost drain — it backs up, refreezes, and overflows. It's the most common fridge repair there is, and an easy, affordable fix: we clear and thaw the drain and add a drain heater/clip so it doesn't re-clog. Common on Samsung, Frigidaire and GE side-by-sides, and virtually all top-freezers.
🧊 Linear compressor (our specialty)
When an LG stops cooling entirely and the freezer warms up, it's usually the linear compressor. We do these all the time — we have the recovery, brazing, and vacuum tools and the technicians trained on the sealed system, so we replace it right the first time. Many LG models carry a limited warranty of up to 10 years on the compressor part; if yours qualifies, you mostly pay labor — and our labor beats the shops that treat a compressor like a whole new fridge.
❄️ Ice maker (our specialty)
No ice, slow ice, or a jammed dispenser on French door and door-in-door LGs — the ice maker assembly, water inlet valve, or a frozen line. We stock and source these constantly, so it's a fast, affordable fix, not a week-long wait. This is our other bread-and-butter LG repair.
Evaporator fan & defrost
A frosted-over evaporator or a dead evap fan warms the fridge while the freezer still looks fine — often mistaken for a compressor. A quick, affordable fix once we confirm it, which is exactly why the diagnosis matters.
Water inlet valve & dispenser
Weak or no water at the dispenser, or an ice tray that won't fill, usually points to the inlet valve or a frozen dispenser line — not the whole cooling system.
Main control & sensors
Wrong temps, error codes, or a dead display can be the main control board or a bad thermistor. We confirm it's actually the board before replacing it.
